A Millennial Tradition in Cap Bon

The Art of Capturing and Training

Every spring, during the migration of birds towards Europe, local falconers capture sparrowhawks and falcons. For several weeks, an intense bond is formed between man and bird. The falconer patiently trains his companion for falconry hunting, primarily for quail.
